PSI implements ERP System at Schiepek Maschinen- und Werkzeugbau GmbH

PSIpenta ideally meets the requirements of two business units

Berlin, 26 February 2018 - Schiepek Maschinen- und Werkzeugbau GmbH has contracted PSI Automotive & Industry GmbH with the implementation of the new version 9 of the ERP system PSIpenta, which will replace the previous system.

The medium-sized company Schiepek concentrates on the construction of special machines and operates as a supplier to the automotive industry. PSIpenta, as a production-oriented solution, will cover the different requirements of both business areas equally. Important reasons for the decision in favor of PSIpenta were the high functional depth and the complete range of functions. Moreover, PSI's deep understanding of the industry's challenges and high investment security played a key role.

In addition to the ERP order management, the modules SCM, BDE / PZ, Cost Accounting and Smart Planning & Analytics (Business Intelligence) are used at Schiepek. In future, the BI solution will be an important visualization and control instrument for the management board. The PSI Java-based framework also enables the intuitive adaptation of user interfaces to individual requirements with PSI Click Design.
